![]() Patrick Bentley is a professional wildlife photographer based in Zambia's South Luangwa National Park. He was born in the Copperbelt and grew up in the remote bush of Zambia's North-western Province where he developed a passion for both wildlife and photography. As well as being a wildlife photographer Patrick is an experienced safari guide. He uses his knowledge and experience of both photography and African wildlife to guide specialist photographic safaris in the South Luangwa. Patrick’s blog, Living Luangwa, is updated twice a week with some of his latest images as well as stories and information on the wildlife of the Luangwa Valley and the challenges of photographing them. Patrick's images are available in print through this website. He is also available for commission work and has undertaken contract work for National Geographic and WWF among others. Patrick's photography has received international recognition; most recently a 'highly commended' in the 2009 BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition and a 'highly honored' in the 2009 Nature's Best Photography Windland Smith Rice International Awards. |
